Yup, I’m still mad as hell

Regular

This makes me even more annoyed because Happy says to Peter, “I don’t think Tony would’ve done what he did, if didn’t know you’d be here when he was gone,” or something like that. It just ruins the sentiment and the motives of the movie, since the whole plot of Far From Home revolves around what Tony left behind for Peter, in case of an untimely death. Bruh, the only untimely death around here is Spidey’s departure from the MCU! Can you tell I’m annoyed?

IRONMAN TRIBUTE POSTER FROM D23!

Regular

Sorry for the late post! D23 2019 happened… whilst I was at a music festival for 6 days!

Anyhow, here’s all the juicy stuff I could find, including a Black Panther 2 confirmation (May 6 2020), THREE more Disney+ shows (She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and my most anticipated, Moon Knight), and we also got some awesome concept art for Black Widow, Eternals, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and WandaVision! I also beleive Jon Snow himself, Kit Harrington, has been cast as Black Knight in Eternals too!

SIX PHASE 4 MOVIES CONFIRMED!

Black Widow, May 1st 2020

Eternals, Nov 6th 2020

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Feb 12th 2021

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, May 1st 2021

Thor: Love and Thunder, Nov 5th 2021

Blade, ???

Things worth mentioning: Footage was shown of the Black Widow movie, which featured Jason Bourne and John Wick style action in Budapest. Eternals will be about stopping the deviants from meddling with Earth, and the underlining theme will be how immortal beings discover what it’s like to be human. Shang-Chi will obviously delve deeper into the Ten Rings organisation, which means that the actual Mandarin villain will most likely feature. The Doctor Strange sequel will feature Scarlet Witch (post the events of WandaVision) and will be Marvel’s first movie with “scary” elements, with Nightmare as the villain. Thor: Love and Thunder includes the return of Jane Foster, eventually becoming female Thor, which may stem from the multiverse since this movie comes out after the Doctor Strange sequel. It will also follow Valkyrie on her quest to find a worthy queen to rule beside her. Blade will be played by Mahershala Ali, other than that, not much is known as of yet. Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain Marvel and Black Panther sequels have been confirmed (which we kinda already knew), and lastly, Kevin Feige teased about a Fantastic Four movie being in development.

I’m so hyped! Phase 4 is shaping up to be the most weird and wonderful phase yet! I love the comicbook style titles, and the fact they show no signs of shying away from the wacky stuff. Not to mention Blade becoming part of the MCU! This is crazy! I’m so happy right now!

FIVE DISNEY+ STREAMING SHOWS COMING SOON!

We all knew these were coming, but now we know when:

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Fall 2020

WandaVision, Spring 2021

Loki, Spring 2021

What If…?, Summer 2021

Hawkeye, Fall 2021

Things worth mentioning: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will feature Daniel Brühl returning as Zemo. WandaVision will feature an older Monica Rambeau from the Captain Marvel movie, and the end events of the show will roll straight into the Doctor Strange sequel (check my blog for the movie slate). The Loki show will follow the 2012 version of the God of Mischief that teleported away in the alternate Endgame timeline, which means he’s still ‘evil’ and up to no good. What If…? will be Marvel Studios’ first animated show, and will feature 25 MCU actors returning to provide voice acting. Hawkeye will focus on Clint as his time as Ronin, as well as the passing of the torch to Kate Bishop.

EARLY REVIEWS FOR SPIDEY FAR FROM HOME PRAISE THE MOVIE’S EPIC ACTION AND ITS SHOCKING MOMENTS!

Some are saying it’s the greatest Spidey flick yet! I can’t wait to see it, but alas, this marks the first MCU movie I won’t be able to see on day of release because I’m out of the country!
